Flip Side: Polling and media coverage in the Toronto election

Who’s influencing who?

It shouldn’t be too surprising that out of all the candidates running to be Toronto’s mayor after the election in October, Rob Ford is getting the lion’s share of press coverage. He is, after all, the sitting mayor, not to mention his long and sordid saga of scandal. But when do the other candidates get to shine?

This week, Lauren and Elissa talk about how polling impacts election coverage in the media and how that in turn could impact the polls themselves.
