Squirrel tries, and fails. Photo: YouTube Anyone who owns a bird feeder knows that squirrels are a pain the tail. They have enormous appetites, are smarter than they look, and will do almost anything to get at the seed in a bird feeder. Birds, for their part, are usually left hungry.
Not so for this little guy. Some enterprising bird feeder owners down south covered the pole of their feeder in vaseline (non-toxic and doesn’t hurt anyone, don’t worry) and filmed the squirrel’s attempts to get up the feeder.
No dice.
