VIDEO: Rob Ford higher than he’s been before

rofogif

A new video of Toronto mayor Rob Ford emerged Wednesday afternoon showing the city chief magistrate higher than ever before — literally.

No, it’s not the video but one that follows a Rob Ford bobblehead (the one styled after his Jimmy Kimmel experience, in the growing line of Ford figurines) into “near space.”

The bobblehead was carried June 14 into space by a meteorological balloon and the journey is captured by a GoPro camera. A group called Cooperative Exploration, which describes itself as “a team of family and friends cooperating to explore beyond our terrestrial reach, and collaborating with our community to inspire greatness and wonder.”

They “use high-altitude balloons and advanced electronics to deliver payloads to near space and record our journeys.” The group also explicitly states the video is not a campaign endorsement.

To see other videos of the mayor, we may need to wait for the courts to release them as part of an extortion case against Alessandro “Sandro” Lisi.
