Toronto Zoo video is proof that pandas like tobogganing, too

One of the benefits of being roly poly giant panda is that toboggans aren’t really needed to enjoy a snowy hillside.

The Toronto Zoo captured resident panda Da Mao having a ball in some fresh snow at the facility’s east-end location. Da Mao can be seen climbing the small hill, rolling down, then sauntering back up to do it all over again.

Check it out:

Da Mao, a male, is one of two pandas on loan to the Toronto Zoo from China. He and his female counterpart, Er Shun, will move on to the Calgary Zoo in 2018.

Judging by other videos the Toronto Zoo has posted, Da Mao seems to have a particular proclivity for frolicking in snow, so we’re guessing he’ll enjoy his time in Alberta.
